With the DRAM stick removed from motherboard, the EZ debug light for CPU-LED is continuously ON (white) I think the above is an indication of either incompatible DRAM or faulty DRAM. VGA-LED lit on: the graphics card or the CPU with Just head to MSI website. List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem. The case and CPU fans are spinning, but the MSI mobo's EZ Debug CPU light remains red and the DRAM light remains yellow.
#Dram and cpu led flashing msi Pc#
PSU: Generic brand 550w, tested with a Corsair as well, same problem. With the DRAM stick in DDR slot-1 the EZ debug lights glow in following repeating pattern: DRAM-LED: 5 seconds, CPU-LED: 1 second. Building a PC for the first time, and after trying to boot it up, I'm getting no signal to my monitor. Thanks in advance for any help, this is becoming very stressful. If I boot with only the CPU (no RAM) the EZ Debug LED stays lit solid on DRAM, but when I connect the RAM, the EZ Debug LED starts to blink alternately between DRAM and CPU. Internal hardware examples include the CPU, RAM, or a graphics card.

I put electrical tape on the screws for the backplate for the cooler, I reset the CMOS, unseated and reseated my ram over and over again and swapped between them, along with making sure all of the connections to the mobo are correct, I am just absolutely lost. A red light on your motherboard means internal hardware is either plugged-in incorrectly or not working. I have been working on building my first pc for a month and a half now and it’s been very frustrating, I initially built it inside my pc case (rookie mistake) and i have spent days on days trying to figure out what’s wrong, I rma’d my mobo and was notified it had bent pins, and i wasn’t able to get a new one after contacting the seller on newegg, and now after grabbing a new mobo today and setting up everything on the mobo box, i’m getting debug lights going back and forth between CPU and DRAM, i seriously don’t know what to do at this point, i don’t have money to try to get it fixed.
